Lollapalooza is an american music festival featuring alternative rock, indie, rap and punk rock bands. Conceived in 1991 by Perry Farrell, lead singer of Jane's Addiction, Lollapalooza ran annually until 1997 and was revived in 2003. The festival encapsulates the youth culture of the 1990s, similar to what Woodstock did in the 1960s.

Lollapalooza es un festival musical original de los Estados Unidos que ofrece bandas de rock alternativo, indie, rap y punk rock. Concebido en 1991 por Perry Farrell, cantante de Jane´s Addiction, Lollapalooza se realizó anualmente hasta 1997 y fue revivido en 2003. El festival encapsula la cultura joven de los años 1990, algo parecido a lo que Woodstock hizo en los años 60´s.
